Here's the first installment of a new mix series we're presenting simply called Cryphy Radio. You can expect to see more of this kind of thing down the line, with mixes from some of our featured guests and DJ friends, and of course the Get Cryphy crew. The first edition, "Good Morning, How Are You?" is essentially a look into my current rap playlist and includes a shitload of dirty south joints, east coast bangers and even a couple bay area blappers. That being said, I can fully fuck with Nicki on this and Pill's version is awesome too, so why not put 'em together right? On Friday this week the Blood In The Heartland tour makes it's way to Minneapolis. Our fellow Cryphy host Prof from Stophouse will also be celebrating the release of KVP2, and as usual Prof, Rahzwell, and our own DJ Fundo will be putting it down. If you have never seen a Prof & Rahz show then this is the one you want to be at. It will be an absolute party. As a usual I made 2 edits for the single off KVP2 "Animal". One is just an intro edit, but the other is the dance portion of "Animal". Prof also shot a video as well for this song that is bonkers. (Go here to see it).
This got a ton of love on my soundcloud page and it hit the download limit shortly after I posted it. Threw this one together last night since I'm a big nerd who often spends weekends at home. I've always thought this Neon Neon beat was really fresh, but I'll admit to knowing nothing about the group besides really digging this beat. Here's a blend that I put together awhile back but just got around to putting online. Amanda Blank's "Might Like You Better" ended up sounding nice over Shannon's classic "Let the Music Play" instrumental so this blend found a place on my soundcloud. I put some other stuff up recently too so feel free to have a listen. Also, thanks to everyone who made it to Get Cryphy on Friday, its such a blessing to have so many folks come out just a month after our huge 2 year party(which I have photos from and will post soon, srs.). This song is the s@&*, and a few weeks back Jimmy2times posted the full version of this song on the blog. After some serious listening it became apparent that there was something real wrong with the song. Nicki Minaj goes last. So I decided to move our favorite lady of Young Money to the first verse and take out Luda's second Verse. I think this is how Luda should have released the song, but that's just my opinion. Enjoy!
To celebrate, I decided to do another Dre mix, and because its 2010 I couldn't resist the space odyssey+Star Child/Parliament+Dre/Samples thing so Mothership Connection it is(peep my nerdery son!). Just like last year, I included some obvious and not so obvious cuts but overall just a shitload of bangers and mostly awesome rapping. I've been holding onto this edit for a minute to see if the song took off like I thought it might. B.o.B is one of those artists that have been getting a ton of buzz for awhile now, and it's well deserved. He has a new album coming out called " B.o.B Presents the Adventures of Bobby Ray" slated to release in April. This is technically the first single off of the record and it's been getting some good radio play. Enjoy!!

One of my favorite songs in a long time, and from what I understand a lot of other peoples too. The boy Young Chris aka Dj Fundo came through with the instrumental to this today. I pieced it together, and its was a wrap.
