It's been awhile since the last installment of Cryphy radio, so I figured I'd lace y'all with a new mix. This one came about after a day of listening to beats and hitting up my favorite Brooklyn sammich spot with the dude Brandon Allday of MPLS rap duo Big Quarters. Moombahton has been everywhere lately(Read its origin HERE if you're unfamiliar) and I was showing him some of my favorite joints of the fledgling genre when he suggested I do a mix for the midwest homies, So here it is! This mix is 100% live so there might be a boo boo moment or two, but all in all its pretty fun and there's something for everyone including a few Moombahton edits and remixes from the likes of DJ Last Word and I, and I even included my edit/blend of Udachi's "Swagger," so get on it! Soundset is this Sunday, and as most people know it's a pretty big event thrown by Rhymesayers Entertainment. This year all the dj's associated with Get Cryphy will be performing. Jimmy2times & Plain Ole Bill will be setting off the Soundset after party, and Bill will also be performing with P.O.S. on the Main stage. On the Fifth Element stage DjFundo will getting down with our homies Prof & Rahzwell, and I'll be backing the newly name changed Ernest Rhodes. Mike2600 will also be djing in the B-Boy tent too. Don't miss this one cause its gonna be outrageous. Atmosphere and Method Man & Redman will be headlining.

Our dude Emynd's label Crossfaded Bacon just keeps coming with the great releases, this time from Baltimore duo Quincy and Noteman, who make up the group Uncle Jesse. Straight from Emynd:

vs.Here's a blend that I put together awhile back but just got around to putting online. Amanda Blank's "Might Like You Better" ended up sounding nice over Shannon's classic "Let the Music Play" instrumental so this blend found a place on my soundcloud. This song is the s@&*, and a few weeks back Jimmy2times posted the full version of this song on the blog. After some serious listening it became apparent that there was something real wrong with the song. Nicki Minaj goes last. So I decided to move our favorite lady of Young Money to the first verse and take out Luda's second Verse. I think this is how Luda should have released the song, but that's just my opinion. Enjoy!
